When are your services?
Nansemond River Baptist Church has worship each Sunday at 9:30 am. The service features excellent programs for children from birth through 4th Grade We recommend you arrive approximately 20 minutes before the service so you won’t feel rushed.

How do I get to Nansemond River?
Nansemond River Baptist Church is located in the heart of Northern Suffolk, VA. Situated a short drive from anywhere in Hampton Roads, Nansemond River is a convenient drive to Rt. 17 from the I-664 Corridor.
What can I expect on my first visit?
From the moment you pull into the parking lot, you’ll be made to feel at home. Our parking team will direct you as you enter the campus. Then, our greeters will be poised and ready to give directions or answer any questions you may have. If you have children, you’ll want to take advantage of our safe and secure children’s services designed just for them.
As you enter the worship center, our ushers will welcome you, hand you our information-filled weekend worship guide and direct you to your seat. Then, sit back, relax, and enjoy the service!
Where do I take my children?
You'll find first-class programs for your children, from birth to 6th grade.
Entering the main doors of the Worship Center our Nursery is located on the hall at the far end of the foyer. The volunteers in our Nursery offer a warm, colorful, and caring environment for your precious ones, with rooms designed for each state of development. The ages for the Nursery are from birth to 18 months.
Continuing down the hall from the Nursery brings you to our Preschool wing. The volunteers in the Preschool Ministry go out of their way to create an amazing atmosphere that will captivate your child's heart and imagination. Preschoolers from 18 months to 5 years are on this hallway. In the Preschool Ministry, your child/children will experience crafts, music, time to play on the playground, group interaction and most importantly who Jesus is and that He loves them.
Our Children's wing for 1st - 6th Grade is located on the second floor of our Education wing. Entering the main doors of the Worship Center, you will go down the first hall to your left. Take the stairs at the end of the hall to the second floor to the coolest place ever. Children's Ministry desires to teach children (1) who God is, (2) that He sent His son, (3) that He loves them and wants them to be a part of what He is doing in their life, (4) and how they should live because of who Jesus is and what He has done. We teach in a way that your child will really have a blast!
Do you have something for students?
Oh Yeah! Our Student Ministry connects Middle School and High School through The Refuge, a small group environment that creates community, connects students and communicates truth.
