Global Outreach

The Challenge

"How then shall they call upon him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they  believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? As it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good news?"  Romans 10:14-15

The Church

As a Global Priority Church, Nansemond River desires to fulfill the Great Commission by connecting famiy and friends to God led opportunities in the area of missions. We do this by seeking God's will in planning/educating, sending, praying for, and supporting specific works in our community, our state, our nation, and the rest of the world. We desire to live an Acts 1:8 life and believe that it is not only the responsibility of missions' agencies, but the local church and its members.

The Task

The task is large! As we seek to be involved in God's work, we do so with specific peoples and countries:

  • Amazon Water Basin, Chili, Eastern Shore (MD), Northern Africa, Thailand, Venezuela, New York and Washington, D.C.

If you have questions regarding the Global Outreach Team, or are interested in any of the above opportunities, please contact the office.
