Student Ministry
Junior High School
The Student Ministry exists to reach every student with the Gospel, to connect them with a community of love and encouragement, and to help them become committed followers of Jesus as they learn to enjoy and delight in God for who He is. All our programs and activities work toward fulfilling this ultimate purpose.
Small group discipleship, fellowship opportunities, evangelism and worship bring messages that will impact their lives in their home, school, community and their daily relationship with God.
* Sunday School: Every Sunday morning, both at 8:15 & 9:30 a.m., youth Sunday School classes meet for Bible study and fellowship with other students their own age. Classes are divided into three age groups, with each group spanning two grade levels. Sunday School is designed to be a group setting where students form closer friendships with other teenagers their own age and with teachers who care for them and are committed to their spiritual growth.
* Summerfest: Summerfest is the Student Ministry's major outreach event which takes place on Sundays during July. Students participate in some activity that may be fun, messy, wild, or any combination of the above.
* Shockwave Ground Zero: Shockwave is our weekly Wednesday night youth service. Students gather in the Fellowship Hall at 7:00 p.m. for group games, fellowship, modern worship, and passionate biblical teaching.
