NRBC Disaster Relief

Nansemond River Baptist Church has a cooperative agreement with the Suffolk Chapter of the American Red Cross to enhance disaster response to our community.

The mission of the NRBC Disaster Relief Program is to serve as an Emergency Response Vehicle (ERV) Kitchen and Respite Site, in the event of a disaster situation, and by request from the American Red Cross.

During the first part of 2010 we will be focused on conducting a Feeding Site rehearsal and preparing for the 2010 Hurricane season.

Volunteers for this program do not have to be members of Nansemond River Baptist Church.  If you are interested in volunteering, or would like to contact the NRBC Disaster Relief Program, please email us as disasterrelief@nansemondriver.org.
